The reference photo for this was taken on the 7th hole at Stanley Park Pitch and Putt. We happened upon this gigantic creature on our way up to the green. I’d never seen such a majestic (and disgusting) insect before, and wanted to memorialize a moment that I’ll surely never forget. Some cultures consider the Black Witch Moth to be bad luck, but I felt very lucky to have encountered this spectacular being.
